Advertisement Notice for the post of Fireman, Fireman Driver, Fireman Ministerial, and Sweeper (Safaiwala) in Ladakh Fire and Rescue Service.

Online applications are invited from eligible Residents of the Union territory of Ladakh for the following posts in Ladakh Fire and Rescue Service against the vacancies and in the Pay Level as shown against each



The detailed terms and conditions with regards to eligibility, educational qualification, age, mode of recruitment, reservation, etc are as follows:-

1. Essential Qualifications:- The essential educational qualification and age prescribed for the above-mentioned posts are specified in Annexure-“A”.

2. Resident of the Union territory of Ladakh: - The applicant shall be a Resident of the Union Territory of Ladakh as per the provisions of the Administration of the Union territory of Ladakh, Order No. 12-LA (LD) of 2021 Dated: 04-09-2021 and shall have a valid Resident Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, by or before the last date of submission of the application form.

3. Reservations and relaxations: - Reservation will be in accordance with the provisions of the Union territory of Ladakh Reservation Rules as amended vide the Administration of the Union territory of Ladakh, Social Welfare Department, S.O-14 Dated 23rd April 2020.

a. Candidates seeking consideration under Reserved Categories must ensure that he/ she possess a Valid Category Certificate by or before the last date of submission of the application form.

b. Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of the Reserved Category Certificate is verified by the appointing authority.

c. Candidates are cautioned to note that in case a claim for reservation is made on the basis of false/fake/fraudulent certificate, his candidature shall be canceled abinitio and legal action under the relevant law will be taken against the applicant.

4. Mode of recruitment:- The selection process prescribed for the posts of Fireman, Fireman Driver, and Fireman Ministerial are specified in Annexure-“B-1” and the selection process prescribed for the post of Sweeper (Safaiwala) is specified in Annexure-“B-2”.

5. Admit card: - Admit card for any stage of examination will not be sent by post. Facilities for downloading admit cards will be provided.

6. Examination center: - Each district will ordinarily have one center for the conduct of recruitment tests.

7. Link for submission of Online application: The link for submission of the online application form for the post will become active/live on 27-04-2022 and will remain active/ live till 18-05-2022 (5:45 PM). Eligible candidates are requested to fill out the application form by visiting the  link https://ladakhpolicerecruitment.in by or before the last date for submission of the online application form.

8. Application Fee:-

a. Fee payable:

i. For the post of Fireman, Fireman Driver and Fireman Ministerial:- Rs 500/- (five hundred rupees only)

ii. For the post of Sweeper (safaiwala):- Rs 300/- (three hundred rupees only).

b. Fees can be paid only by online mode through Net Banking, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or UPI.

c. Application received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection


Important Instructions to Candidates:-

a. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions given in the notice of examination very carefully


Annexure-A

Essential Educational Qualification and age:

Fireman

  • 10+2 from a recognized Board of School Education with Physics and Chemistry as the main subjects.
  • Below 18 years and above 30 years of age.
  • The candidates should not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age. (the candidates born before 01-01-1992 and after 31-12-2003 shall not be eligible).
  • b. Prescribed upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen (ESM):- the prescribed upper age limit for Ex-servicemen shall be 03 years after the deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates.

Note:-Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed age limit as provided above will be admissible.

FIREMAN DRIVER
  •  10th Passed from a recognized Board of School Education
  •  Driving License of Light Motor Vehicle With TRANS
  • The candidates should not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age. (the candidates born before 01-01-1992 and after 31-12-2003 shall not be eligible).
  •  Prescribed upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen (ESM):- the prescribed upper age limit for Ex-servicemen shall be 03 years after the deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates.
Note:-Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed age limit as provided above will be admissible

FIREMAN MINISTERIAL

  • 10+2 passed from a recognized Board of School Education.
  • Minimum Speed of 35 words per minute in typewriting on computer keyboard with 90% accuracy 
  • The candidates should not be below 18 years and above 30 years of age. (the candidates born before 01-01-1992 and after 31-12-2003 shall not be eligible). 
  • Prescribed upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen (ESM):- the prescribed upper age limit for Ex-servicemen shall be 03 years after the deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates.

Note:-Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed age limit as provided above will be admissible.


SWEEPER (SAFAIWALA)

  • 10th passed from a recognized Board of School Education.
  • Proficiency in the concerned trade.
  • The candidates should not be below 18 years of age (a person born after 31-12-2003 shall not be eligible) 
  • The category wise upper age limit is as follows:-

        GEN - 42

            Reserved Catagories - 45

  • Prescribed upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen (ESM):- the prescribed upper age limit for Ex-servicemen shall be 03 years after the deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates.

Note:-Relaxation of additional (02) two years beyond the prescribed age limit as provided above will be admissible
